WE DROVE THROUGH
many a hill and dale, covered in sheep and cows, on the way to Hay on Wye and books.
Stopped for a half of bitter and a bowl of leek and potatoe soup in TUMP.
Stopped for a half with a Scotsman while looking for books.
RHWDYSPENCE INN
We are staying in an inn whose kitchen is closed due to circumstances beyond his ( the land lord ) control. We are the only guests and there is one staff. The bar is open and he treats his friends as they save the world.
